Feeling overwhelmed by your home, or the weight that comes with it?
Maybe you’re navigating a big life change like downsizing, combining households, or clearing a loved one’s belongings. Or maybe it’s the everyday build-up - the clutter, the decisions, the constant feeling of being behind.
When your home stops feeling like a place to rest and starts feeling like another source of stress, it can be hard to know where to begin.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Hi, I’m Andrea — Professional Organiser and founder of Empatia Home Edit.
I support people in their homes when things feel overwhelming, helping them gently reset their space in a way that actually works for their life.
My background includes counselling, mental health support work, running small businesses and a busy household, downsizing, and supporting others through life transitions. I bring these skills into my organising in a practical, grounded way - offering calm, respectful support without judgement.
Working together, I’ll support you to:
-
reduce overwhelm
-
make clear, confident decisions about your belongings
-
create simple systems that are easy to maintain
-
feel more at ease in your home
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and realistic. I understand that our belongings often hold memories, meaning, and emotion. You won’t be rushed or pressured, and you’ll never be asked to let go of things that matter to you.
This isn’t about perfection or minimalism. It’s about creating a home that feels supportive, functional, and right for you.
Sustainability is also at the heart of my work.
Through my volunteering at a Lifeline thrift store, I see firsthand both the volume of items that pass through and the potential they still hold. I love helping clients repurpose what they already own, reduce unnecessary waste, and find meaningful ways to use their space and belongings.
How we can work together
I currently offer virtual organising sessions, working with you in your home via Zoom, FaceTime, Messenger, or a platform that suits you.
From 2027, I will be based in the Armidale and New England region, where I’l
