Helping those who need it most!
Clutter Cat offers Professional Organising services for homes on the South Coast of NSW; working with busy families, NDIS participants, and people with hoarding disorder and chronic disorganisation.
Your friendly consultant Kitty Brooker brings a sense of calm to every session; helping you to free up space and time, discovering effective systems to keep things tidy, and creating spaces that work with you, not against you!
Something needs to change around the home, but you’re not sure where to start. It could be a simple matter of needing an extra set of hands, or learning some decluttering and organising hacks to help you create calm spaces and save time.
In some cases you may need a little more support if the clutter is “taking over” - perhaps you haven’t felt comfortable having guests around for some time, or you’ve got family hassling you to get around to the tidying up!
Whatever your situation, Kitty brings a specific set of skills, knowledge and understanding; to help you create the home that work best for your lifestyle, tastes and habits.
Please note that Kitty also specialises in working with people who have chronic disorganisation; and is able to work in hoarded homes.
The service Clutter Cat offers to NDIS participants is highly specialised and fills a gap which is not usually covered by other supports such as cleaners and social workers. This includes:
- Hands-on decluttering (removing fire / trip hazards as a priority)
- Working in hoarded or neglected home environments
- Building home-management skills within the participant
- Plus other participant-specific goals as agreed
Outcomes vary from person to person and can range from “just sprucing up the house” to the occasional prevention of eviction!
Clutter Cat is able to provide support to plan-managed and self-managed participants, and pricing is per a negotiated line item from the latest NDIS Price Guide. Clutter Cat adheres to the NDIS Code of Conduct, and Kitty's accreditation includes National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and Mental Health First Aider certificate. Please call or email to check availability and book a consultation for the Participant.
Please note that Clutter Cat also offers these services to those with disability or mental illness who are not participating in the NDIS, and is open to discussion on sourcing funding for clients.
Did you know that professional photos can increase the final sale price of your home? Clutter Cat works alongside Real Estate Agencies to help you prepare your home for sale - in particular, getting things neat and tidy for the photographer, as well as for viewings.
Your consultant Kitty respectfully helps you to de-personalise all areas of the home, walks you through the decluttering phase to hide any clutter and to create a blank canvas for prospective buyers, and the best part - budget styling, using whatever can be found around the home!
Please contact Clutter Cat for enquiries around additional services such as downsizing and packing/moving.
